Cotton Bags

Cotton bags are becoming a bag of the future. With talks of plastic bags having a tax on them cotton bags are becoming more and more popular. These bags are starting to be used in every business sector from retail to exhibition and even some service businesses have started using these as a marketing tool.

The cotton bag can be used for a number of purposes such as a shopping bag and general use hand bag even children are starting to use these bags for taking their school work and lunch in them. The cotton bags as well as the jute bag are now also being classed as a bag for life due to their long life expectancy. Unfortunately though due to wear and tear of the bags they cannot be certified as a bag for life.

Our cotton bags are 100% natural and are un bleached. As there is no cotton grown in the UK we have the bags manufactured in India and imported by sea in containers of 100,000+ bags minimising the transportation and carbon footprint.  We screen print the bags by hand in the uk using water based inks again keeping the whole process as environmentally friendly as possible.These bags are ethically sourced and are manufactured in suitable working conditions.

Although our most populr cotton bags are made from un dyed cotton we also offer a range of coloured cotton bags as well as being able to dye a cotton bag to keep within your corporate colours. There are 2 styles of cotton bag we offer: Standard Shopper and Gusseted Shopper and come in either 5oz cotton or a 10oz canvas. The sizes of our bags are 38cm x 42cm and 38cm x 42cm + 10cm they also come with either a long or short handle depending on your requirement. With the gusseted shopper the long handle is the most popular as you can carry a heavier weight over your shoulder. Our cotton bags can also be custom made to any size you require on orders of 1,000+ bags and have a lead time of approx 8 – 10 weeks as they are produced at our factory in India.

The stock colours we hold are: Red, Green, Black, Blue and White.

These bags are screen printed in the UK using waterbased inks and can be printed both sides up to 8 colours.

Lead time on our standard cotton bags are approx 7 – 10 days and on our custom cotton bags lead times are 8 – 10 weeks.
