Our vest carrier bags are made of either high density or low density polythene and come in either a recycled or biodegradable material. Unlike virgin polythene which will take 1,000’s of years to degrade our biopoly will start to degrade as soon as the bags are put into landfill. Our recycled bags are made using a percentage of recycled material making the bag a more environmentally friendly alternative to standard polythene.

The reason the bags are called a vest carrier bag is because they look like a man’s vest due to the long handles. These bags are a comfortable bag to carry and because of the longer handle it means you can carry a number of bags in the same hand.

Vest carrier bags come in 3 most popular sizes although we can make the bags to your requirement. The bags can be manufactured either loose, block headed for hanging or on a roll ideal for fruit shops. They come in various thicknesses and colours and can be printed both sides up to 4 colours. Depending on deadlines and quantities we offer either a UK or Far East production. The UK production is ideal for short deadlines as we can turn around an order within 3 – 4 weeks with a minimum quantity as low as only 5,000 bags. If you can wait a little longer and can order in bulk we can then offer a Far East production with a lead time of approx 12 weeks this allows us to obtain the best price and minimum quantities are only 30,000 bags.
